AKA was a South African singer, songwriter, and producer who gained fame after releasing his single “Victory Lap.”
He went on to release successful albums such as “Levels,” “Touch My Blood,” and “Be Careful What You Wish For.”
AKA grew up in Cape Town and Johannesburg, attending various schools including Holy Cross Convent, Cape Town, and St. John College. He discovered his love for music as a teenager and started writing rap songs.
AKA co-founded the hip-hop group Entity and later the IV Collective while studying Sound Engineering at university.
AKA sadly passed away on February 10, 2023 His last album is available to listen to.
