Chef 187, a prominent hip-hop artist in Zambia, recently decided to leave out some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Macky, Yo Maps, Chile One MrZambia from his latest album.
He explained that the reason for this was to test his impact in the music industry by featuring only rising artists.
During an interview with Chimweka, Chef 187 delved deeper into the decision and the thought process behind it.
He stated that he wanted to give a platform to new and upcoming talent in the industry and help them gain exposure.
He also mentioned that he wanted to challenge himself as an artist and prove that he could still make great music without relying on established artists.
