During the press briefing Baby Dizmo had a chance to do a freestlyle that got everyone cheering including the two Nigerian comedians.
Nigerian actors Chinedu Ikedieze ‘AKI’ and Osita Iheme ‘Paw Paw’ arrived in the country yesterday for their festive comedy shows powered by Uncle T’s Arts Promotions which are slated for 22nd December and in Lusaka’s on Saturday 23rd December 2017.
Speaking at the Press briefing Chinedu Ikedieze AKI said Zambia has the potential to grow bigger and that he and other Nigerians that have led the way into the establishment of the Nollywood film industry’s growth are privileged to be touring other African countries and the rest of the world.
Meanwhile Osita Iheme PAW PAW said they as Nigerians believe in hard work and training and these two things are what can get the Zambian film industry to reach greater heights.
He said when they started they had little government support and proved to the people that the film and art industry was going to grow bigger with time, he added that as of now Nigerians are able to boast of contributing 5.6% to their GDP annually.
Meanwhile the event promoter Mr Trevor Ngandu popularly known as UNCLE T said he will continue working towards incorporating Zambian artists with Nigerian artists in order to get the right information and understand how the Nigerians have achieved success.
The two shows are set to feature Baby Dizmo, Collins Bwana Njombe, Dorika, Shike Mwisho and a performance by Exile.
