From Kisimani album, Wakazi drops two singles, “Kila Siku” & “Siri Ya Mafanikio“.
Kila Siku, which carries the album title (KIla SIku MAIsha NInayakabili), is Produced by Mujwahuki and features the songstress Rossie M. It pretty much sums up what the whole album (Kisimani) is about, which is Life and its struggles. Wakazi also looks at his online trials and tribulations, while declaring his position in the rap game after all that he had to endure.
Siri Ya Mafanikio is a Cjamoker produced track. Siri Ya Mafanikio translates to “Secret of Success” in Swahili. Here Wakazi tries be introspective as he goes through the journey of life, and experiences the ups and downs that define ones path. As much as the question, “Nieleze Siri ya Mafanikio/What is the secret to success” is a rhetorical one, still Wakazi manages to look at his own journey in hindsight at wonder.
