Following the success of the 2017 Edition of Coke Studio Africa, The Coca-Cola Company, has commenced the production of the show’s new season that will air on TV across Africa, starting Feb 2019. The upcoming new season dubbed ‘Coke Studio Africa 2019’ promises to be a celebration of different African musical genres and cultures, highlighting stories and reunions that you can’t miss!
In the new season dubbed ‘Coke Studio Africa 2019’, Zambia’s very own celebrated and seasoned rapper Chef 187 will be featured on the non-competitive music collaboration show paired alongside Hip Hop heavyweight Khaligraph Jones (Kenya) and the legendary singer and songwriter formerly of P Square: Rudeboy (Nigeria). The pair will be produced by renowned Ethiopian record producer, songwriter and DJ Rophnan Nuri.
Chef 187 becomes the third Zambian musician to feature on Coke Studio Africa. Respected Zambian music act: Slapdee was featured on ‘Coke Studio Africa 2017’ last year and in 2016 Cleo Ice Queen was the lead act to feature on show. Other participants from Southern Africa region featured on the show last year include: AKA (South Africa), Jah Prayaz (Zimbabwe), Nasty C (South Africa), Mr Bow (Mozambique), Tresor (South Africa), Liloca (Mozambique), Shekhinah (South Africa) and Mafikizolo ( South Africa), among others.

Sankara Hotel will provide Coke Studio Africa stars world class hospitality, as they spend time at the recording studios of Coke Studio Africa in Nairobi, Kenya. They will be paired alongside Coke Studio Africa Super producers, who will produce the show’s musical fusions like Covers, Throwbacks and Original Compositions.
