Nez Long – “School Fees The Ep” [Review]
Will take you back on 23rd December 2017, when Nez Long made his first impression and proved he could be household name to the Zambian people, this is the time when he dropped his break through song called “Van Damme” which was assisted by Bobby East and Chef 187.
Nez Long managed to pull through and his song Van Damme was a smash hit in 2018, the rapper was fully recognised and managed to become a mainstream artist plus won several awards.
Fast forward; Nez long has released an EP called “School Fees The EP” which has eight songs on it with few features on the project of Daev, Koby, Yo Maps, Tia, Kizzo Jr, Theresa N’gambi, Keka and producers on board are Mr stash, Eazy the producer, C Mark and Jazzy boy.
On the EP he brought his confidence, unapologetic and unbothered flow.
“W” serves as the opener on the body of work, it’s a song talking about winning and making it through his raps. Deav features on the record and gave the song a timeless verse fam with catchy voice overs mixed by Mr Stash.
Nez Long is here and his tapping into the new wave with the help of legendary Poshano kaiche and his best friend Bobby East, “Chains” will stand out and appeal to this decade.
Just like any EP, Nez Long managed to compose a love anthem with vocals of award winning singer Yo Maps, the love themed song is christened “ine Nawe” and employed the skills of Mr Stash.
Track number 4 is a straightforward soundtrack dedicated to his mother also going out to everyone, he named it as “Hellens Song” featuring Tia with production credit earned by C-Mark.
“Zako” is another banging slapper performed by Nez long and Koby, the duo brought the drip and the bars with Eazy the producer bringing his Edm/ Trap infusion they made a banger.
School fees the Ep catered every audience, mentioning that track number 6 is called Noah will set clubs and the streets on fire, he joined forces with a new acton the rise known as Kizzo Jr he murdered the chorus🐐.
On every project every artiste has a story to tell and that’s what exactly Nez Long did on “Zuka” with vocals rendered by the talented Theresa N’gambi, they created a masterpiece produced by Mr stash.
Concluding the EP is the hit song called “KEKA” alongside the lyrical sensei Chef 187 and no thoughts on this project it’s already stood out.
