Watch Amanda Nkonde Emerge Victorious After Performing Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s Hit & Wins K110,000 (Video)
Few days ago, Zambia witnessed the grand finale of the first ever “I Can Sing” children’s singing competition (season 1) which saw 6 year old Amanda Nkonde emerge victorious followed by her 11-year old brother Lemyeni Nkonde who emerged as first runner up and the talented 10-year old Wana Kanyembo who was second runner up.
The ultimate winner Amanda received K10,000 cash money from the national broadcaster and K100,000 from a company called MY HOME TOWN bringing her total prize money to K110,000.
Her brother Lemyeni received K5,000 from ZNBC TV and K75,000 from MY HOME TOWN bringing his total prize money to K80,000.
The total received by Amanda Nkonde and her brother Lemyeni Nkonde of MUFULIRA comes to K190,000 + a keyboard + a guitar + a family holiday trip to Johannesburg sponsored by MY HOMETOWN.
