Lagos-based Afropop sensation Joeboy is capping off the year with a bang, treating fans to his latest EP, “Body, Soul & Spirit.” This five-track set follows the success of his acclaimed sophomore album, “Body & Soul,” which was released in May 2023. The new EP promises to be a delightful addition to Joeboy’s discography, showcasing his versatility and musical prowess.
To complement the EP release, Joeboy has unveiled the vibrant video for the infectious single “24/7.” The video features Joeboy as a disaffected 9-to-5 worker determined to break free from the monotony of his dull office life inside a brutalist Lagos building. The visual, directed by Nigerian filmmakers Adeola Fadola and KC Obajulu of 2Brthrs Films, transforms the dreary office surroundings into a frenetic Afrobeats dance party, perfectly capturing the spirit of the track.
Inspired by the lyrics’ refrain, “Brother man, I want to dance and flex and feel alright,” the “24/7” video adds a dynamic visual element to the already energetic and infectious song.
